Defender Miguel Freckleton who plies his trade for Austrian Bundesliga leaders LASK, is the only newcomer named in Jamaica’s 24 man squad for the Concacaf Nations League campaign which starts next week.

Dujuan Richards who missed the World Cup playoff games against New Caledonia and D.R Congo in Mexico in March, is again missing from the squad.

However, there are recalls for striker Javon East who plays for Hapoel BE’ER Sheva in Israel.

Leon Bailey who is now with Olympiacos of Greece, is among eight forwards named in the squad along with the likes of Kahiem Dixon and Renaldo Cephas.

Jamaica’s opening game in the Nations League will be against Guatemala at the National Stadium on September 25 to be followed 3 days later with a showdown against Honduras at the same venue.

They then go away for games against El Salvador on October 2 and Honduras on October 5.
