AKIPRESS.COM – President Sadyr Japarov visited the Balastan children’s entertainment center in the town of Talas on September 11.
At the beginning of the event, a short concert program was presented for President Sadyr Japarov and First Lady Aigul Japarova, featuring a children’s dance ensemble and young komuz players who performed the kuu “Mash Botoy.”
The president then visited the IT school operating at the center, where he was briefed on opportunities for children to learn modern digital skills.
Balastan is a multifunctional space for children that combines recreation and entertainment with education and comprehensive development.
The center’s activities are based on the principle of “learning through play.” It provides opportunities for children to develop logical thinking, creative abilities, communication and social skills, as well as an interest in new knowledge and modern technologies.
The 1.7-hectare site features various play and educational zones, attractions, an amphitheater, multimedia spaces, and a STEAM Academy, where children will be able to gain knowledge and practical skills in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
The center is equipped with interactive robots, modern LED screens and multimedia equipment. It also features a multifunctional dome hall, attractions, and viewing rooms in 6D and 9D formats.
During his visit, Japarov toured the center’s play, educational and developmental zones and examined its modern equipment and facilities.
The president was briefed on the concept of Balastan, which is aimed at providing children with meaningful leisure opportunities and creating conditions for their intellectual, physical and creative development.
The center will be able to accommodate up to 3,400 children at a time. Balastan will be open to residents and visitors of Talas, providing children with an opportunity not only to spend their free time in an engaging way, but also to gain new knowledge, develop their abilities and acquire modern skills.
A total of 1.75 billion soms was allocated for the project from the national budget and the Talas Region Development Fund.
