The Tripoli based Ministry of Health reported today that, Tripoli Children’s Teaching Hospital has reopened its Electroencephalography (EEG) clinic after a ten-year closure.

The Ministry said this is a significant step towards improving medical services for children.

It said this will enhance the hospital’s capacity to diagnose and monitor neurological conditions in children and provide this essential medical service within the hospital.

The pediatric and neonatal intensive care units have also been equipped with state-of-the-art EEG devices and equipment as part of a comprehensive plan to enhance the hospital’s ability to manage critical cases and elevate the standard of medical care provided to children and newborns.

This initiative, the Ministry added, is part of ongoing efforts to develop pediatric services, improve the readiness of specialized departments, and provide advanced diagnostic services within hospitals, ultimately contributing to a higher quality of healthcare for children.
