Traffic arrangements: National Library, St George’s

The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) advises the general public, particularly motorists, that the following traffic arrangements will be in effect to facilitate work being done at the National Library building on Sunday, 6 September 2026 between 8:30 am and 4 pm.

NO ENTRY/NO THROUGH ROAD

  • No vehicles will be permitted to make a right turn onto Matthew Street from its intersection with The Carenage

NB: A ‘No-Through Road’ sign will be erected at the intersection of The Carenage and Young Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

Vehicles travelling towards the direction of St George’s from The Carenage will be allowed to:

  • Make a right turn onto Young Street, onto Scott Street
  • Continue along The Carenage, unto Marine Villa Road, unto Grand Etang Road

NO PARKING

No parking will be allowed in the following areas:

  • At the front of the National Library
  • Monckton Street (between Courts Grenada and the Grenada National Museum)
  • Matthew Street
