The Ministry of Finance is pleased to announce that the Gravel Concrete and Emulsion Production Corporation has signed on as the Exclusive Day 2 Sponsor for the 3rd Annual Conference of Directors of Public Sector Entities.
The landmark conference takes place on 23–24 September 2026 at the Grenada Trade Centre.
Under the theme Board Excellence in the Public Sector: Strengthening Governance for Today’s Challenges, the conference serves as the premier governance forum for over 215 leaders across Grenada’s 40 Statutory Bodies and State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs).
Day 2, scheduled for Thursday, 24 September, will feature intensive working sessions, including keynote lectures, fireside chats on value-based compliance and strategic risk management, a closed-door roundtable with Cabinet Secretary Carvell Lett, and a special corporate showcase on driving national infrastructure development.
Speaking on the partnership, Richard Duncan, OBE, Advisor, Ministry of Finance, stated: “I am delighted that Chairman Quarless and his Board have seen it fit to align with the national agenda — in such a significant and tangible way – of promoting effective performance in the public sector and strengthening corporate governance in the statutory Bodies and State-owned enterprises. Gravel and Concrete’s sponsorship says a lot about their commitment.”
Arthur Ollivierre, Chief Executive Officer of Gravel Concrete and Emulsion Production Corporation, added: “It is an honour for Gravel Concrete and Emulsion Production Corporation to support such an important national initiative. As a State-Owned Enterprise, we understand that effective corporate governance is not simply about compliance; it is about accountability, transparency, responsible leadership, sound decision-making, and delivering meaningful value to the people of Grenada.”
The 2026 conference begins on Wednesday, 23 September, with an Opening Ceremony and Cocktail Reception sponsored by Day 1 Exclusive Partner, EY. Day 2 working sessions, sponsored by Gravel Concrete, will run from 9 am to 4 pm at the Grenada Trade Centre main building.
