Defending champion Mount Pleasant Academy are just about staging their final training session ahead of a crucial Concacaf Caribbean Cup encounter in the Dominican Republic, on Wednesday.

The St. Ann based unit will come face to face with Salcedo at the Estadio Moca Stadium starting at 7pm, Jamaica time.

After breezing through the Caribbean Shield tournament, Mount Pleasant suffered defeat in their opening game in the Cup competition on August 17 in Kingston.

Coach Theodore Whitmore says his team is composed and ready for battle against the undefeated Salcedo.

Whitmore says he has the team to defend the crown and its now up to the players to get it done.

The other two Jamaican teams in the competition, former champions Cavalier and National champions Portmore United are meeting on Thursday in Kingston.
