Bishkek to launch shuttle buses for World Nomad Games opening

AKIPRESS.COM – A coordination meeting was held in Bishkek to prepare the shuttle bus system that will transport residents and visitors to the opening ceremony of the VI World Nomad Games.  

The meeting was chaired by Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev and attended by law enforcement officials and representatives of government and municipal services involved in the event.  

Officials reviewed shuttle routes, coordination between services, and traffic monitoring. Particular attention was given to real-time management using video cameras, allowing authorities to monitor traffic, adjust routes if necessary, and respond quickly to problems.  

On August 31, shuttle buses will transport spectators to Bishkek Arena, where the opening ceremony will take place. Buses will operate from 21 designated locations across different parts of the capital.  

The city authorities recommend planning the trip in advance and using the same shuttle route for the return journey after the event.
