Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia exchange views on diplomatic dialogue

AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Amer bin Ali Al-Shehri held a meeting on August 11, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan said.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Saudi relations, as well as topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to further strengthening political and diplomatic dialogue, expanding trade and economic ties, and developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The parties also exchanged views on cooperation within international organizations, emphasizing the importance of constructive cooperation on multilateral platforms. Topical issues of the international and regional agenda were also touched upon.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides expressed their mutual readiness to continue regular contacts and joint efforts aimed at further strengthening friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia.
