47 forest fires occur in Kazakhstan in a week

AKIPRESS.COM – 47 forest fires were recorded in Kazakhstan from August 2 to August 9, Zakon.kz reported.

21 occurred on the lands of forestries under the jurisdiction of local authorities, and another 26 on state forest fund lands.

The fires were promptly identified by ground and aerial patrols, as well as early fire detection systems.

The state forest protection service, aviation and airborne firefighters were involved in the firefighting efforts.

All fires were contained and extinguished, preventing them from spreading.
