The Ministry of Mental Health, Wellness and Religious Affairs advises the public that effective Wednesday, 9 September 2026, the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic services for the parish of St Andrew will be temporarily relocated from the Grand Bras Health Centre to the Sabb Resource and Wellness Centre, located in Sabb, St Andrew next to the Sabb Playing Field.
The temporary relocation is necessary to facilitate the refurbishment of the Grand Bras Health Centre under the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) Health Systems Strengthening Project. This initiative forms part of the Government of Grenada’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s health infrastructure and improve the quality of healthcare services.
The ministry wishes to assure clients, their families, and the public that mental health services will continue without interruption during the duration of refurbishment work.
Services available
The following services will continue to be offered at the Sabb Resource and Wellness Centre:
- Psychiatric Outpatient Clinics
- Psychiatric consultations
- Counselling and psychosocial support services
- Medication dispensing and pharmacy services
- Community mental health follow-up and support
- Health promotion and wellness activities
Transportation for clients
To minimise any inconvenience to clients, the ministry has arranged complimentary transportation on scheduled clinic days, a white Toyota bus number HY26 is contacted to transport all clients as listed hereunder.
Transportation will be available:
- From the Grenville Bus Terminal unto the Grand Bras Health Centre to its final stop at the Sabb Resource and Wellness Centre from 7 am to 9:30 am on clinic days
- From the Sabb Resource and Wellness Centre back unto the Grand Bras Health Centre and final stop at the Grenville Bus Terminal on clinic days
Clients are encouraged to utilise this service where needed to ensure they continue to access their scheduled appointments and treatment.

The ministry remains committed to ensuring that individuals receiving mental health care continue to have access to services throughout the duration of the refurbishment.
Members of the public are encouraged to keep their scheduled appointments and to contact the ministry if they require further information regarding clinic schedules or transportation arrangements.
The ministry appreciates the understanding and cooperation of clients and the wider public during this temporary relocation and looks forward to welcoming clients back to the upgraded Grand Bras Health Centre upon completion of the refurbishment works.
