Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will pay an official visit to Serbia on Saturday.

Zelensky will be hosted by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, the press service of the President of Serbia announced today.

This is Zelensky’s first visit to Serbia since taking office in 2019 and since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Zelensky’s visit to Belgrade was originally announced for the end of May, but was postponed at the last minute. Serbia was instead visited by Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka “in order to lay the groundwork for certain issues”, Kyiv announced.
