Ireland Rugby International Bundee Aki is holidaying in Samoa and was spotted training at JPs Fitness.

The New Zealand born Samoan was eligible to play for the All Blacks as well as Manu Samoa, but qualified for Ireland under residency status and has become an Irish dual citizen in recent years.
Bundee Aki’s illustrious career includes four caps for the British and Irish Lions, and he has won three Six Nations Championships, three Triple Crowns and two Grand Slams with Ireland.
He also won a Super Rugby title with the Chiefs and one PRO12 title with his Connacht Rugby Club.
Last month the 36 year old came off the bench for Ireland against the All Blacks in New Zealand.
Of Samoan descent, Aki was born in the Auckland to Hercules and Sautia Aki. He was named Fua Leiofi, but was called Bundellu after the doctor who delivered him.
His nickname “Bundee” was given to him by a coach at under-age level rugby. Bundee is the second eldest of six children, with one brother and four sisters.
Aki grew up in Manurewa, and attended Manurewa High School, where he featured for his school’s First XV rugby team.
Bundee Aki scored four tries during Ireland’s run to the World Cup quarter-finals in 2023.
