The waiting is over for those who filed their taxes on April 22.
Treasury issued a notice on Thursday that the distribution of tax refunds that was supposed to take place July 30 but was postponed because US Treasury had not issued reimbursement funds, will take place today, Friday July 31.
This follows receipt of funds from the federal agency.
However there will be no direct deposits or checks in the mail. All refund checks will be distributed at the Disbursing Office at the DWYA Center in Pago Pago.
Treasury says the batch released today will include refund checks for those who filed their income tax returns on April 22 and those who filed April 20 and 21 whose refunds required corrections or adjustments that have been completed.
The Treasury notice said a valid government issued Photo ID is required to claim a refund check.
This will be the fourth batch of tax refund checks to be released.
