Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill officially opened in Budapest on July 31, 2026, becoming the brand’s first location in Central Europe. Located at the Dorothea Hotel, the restaurant offers the signature Ramsay Bar & Grill experience, combining premium grilled cuisine, international influences, and local inspiration.
As we have previously reported, the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Budapest restaurant opened on July 31, 2026, at the Dorothea Hotel. Gordon Ramsay was present at the opening.
The concept brings the signature Ramsay Bar & Grill atmosphere to Budapest: an elegant yet vibrant dining experience where grilled dishes, international flair, and local inspirations all play a role.
Two prominent Hungarian professionals will lead the restaurant.
András Katona leads the kitchen as Chef de Cuisine, while Lilla Ivanov is responsible for the restaurant’s operational management.
András Katona has nearly twenty years of international experience, having previously worked at well-known restaurants and hotels in London and even gained experience in the kitchen of the three-Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Lilla Ivanov has more than 15 years of management experience in the international hospitality industry and has worked on major hospitality projects in London and the Middle East.
