The Kuwait Stock Exchange has fully recovered from the market turbulence triggered by regional tensions earlier this year, with its total market capitalization rising 1.217 billion dinars above pre-conflict levels.
According to market data, the value of listed companies increased to 52.415 billion dinars by the end of July 2026, up 256 million dinars, or 0.5 percent, from 52.159 billion dinars at the end of June.
The latest gains place the market 2.37 percent above its valuation on February 24, before the outbreak of the regional conflict involving the United States, Iran and Israel, when total market capitalization stood at 51.198 billion dinars.
The Main Market posted the strongest performance since February, with its market capitalization climbing 745 million dinars, or 9.2 percent, to 8.81 billion dinars, compared with 8.065 billion dinars before the conflict.
The Premier Market also recorded solid growth, rising by 472 million dinars, or 1.09 percent, to 43.605 billion dinars from 43.133 billion dinars over the same period.
Market indices delivered mixed performances during July. The All Share Index gained 0.57 percent, adding 50.3 points, while the Premier Market Index advanced 1.46 percent and the Main 50 Index climbed 2.43 percent.
The broader Main Market Index, however, declined 3.58 percent, shedding 324.8 points during the month.
The latest figures underscore renewed investor confidence in Kuwait’s equity market, supported by improving market sentiment and the resilience of listed companies despite regional geopolitical challenges.
