Director of State Agency for Physical Culture attends Phygital Sports Summit
AKIPRESS.COM – The Phygital Sports Summit was held in Astana, Kazakhstan, on July 29 as part of the Games of the Future 2026.
The summit was titled “Shaping the Future of Phygital Sports: People, Politics, and Global Leadership”.
The event was attended by Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports Urmat Asanbayev along with foreign sports ministers, heads of government agencies, and representatives of the international sports community.
The opening ceremony of the summit included speeches by Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan Yerbol Myrzabosynov, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Mikhail Degtyarev, and Minister of Sports of the United Arab Emirates Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi.
“They shared their countries’ experiences in developing, promoting, and popularizing phygital sports as an innovative future direction at the international level,” the State Agency’s press service reported.
This summit is an important international platform for discussing the prospects for the development of sports, strengthening interstate cooperation, and exchanging best practices in the field of sports and digital technologies.
