Re: “Hegseth announces new policy to test troops for low testosterone.”
So, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says our U.S. military service members 30 and older will undergo annual testosterone level screening. Is our administration planning to groom the screened service members for their form of sumo wrestling or gladiator combat next Independence Day?
This could be their opportunity to one-up the recent Ultimate Fighting Championship on the White House South Lawn.
Certainly, many militaries have deadly young girls, young boys and ladies of all ages as service members on the battlefield, successfully wielding lethal weapons, drones, missiles, etc. Testosterone levels are inconsequential for these children and female warriors’ kills. Testosterone levels are much more important for those in body-building competitions.
Testosterone levels may play into hand-to-hand combat, but our modern military is not dependent on much more than aerial assaults. Our adversary’s military does not care about our military six-packs.
Why drain even a drop of blood carrying testosterone for this foolish endeavor?
