Hot weather continues in our state with possible storms and flash flooding

New Mexico will see a few showers or storms through this evening, then mostly dry weather later Friday night.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico will see a few showers or storms through this evening, then mostly dry weather later Friday night.

Sunday will start dry across the state. A few showers or storms may develop in the afternoon, but rain chances will stay lower than they are through this evening.

High temperatures Sunday will climb into the upper 90s and lower 100s around much of New Mexico.

Monday may bring slightly hotter weather in some areas along with small chances for an afternoon shower or storm.

If a storm forms Monday, it could bring a heavy downpour and a low chance for flash flooding.

High temperatures will stay hot Monday, with upper 90s to near 100 degrees in the Albuquerque area.

Meteorologist Alan Shoemaker shares all the details in his full forecast in the video above.
