ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A dog-themed disco fashion show at the Rail Yards paired models with adoptable dogs and drew more than 100 vendor applications.

The Doggie Disco took place Saturday night at the Rail Yards as both a fashion show and an adoption event. The theme focused on disco and the era that made it iconic.

The four women behind the event said they have planned it since the start of the year to bring something special to Albuquerque while helping dogs find forever homes.
