For the second straight year, and fourth time overall, the Minot State volleyball program has been recognized for its outstanding effort by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).

This week, the AVCA announced its academic awards for the 2025-26 season, and the Beaver volleyball team was honored as an AVCA Team Academic Award winner.

This national honor recognizes outstanding volleyball programs at all levels for their academic excellence. Teams must maintain a minimum cumulative team GPA of 3.3 or higher for the entire 2025-26 academic year to earn the award.

This is the second consecutive year the Minot State volleyball team has earned this prestigious honor, and the fourth time overall, as the Beavers also were honored for the 2024-25, 2019-2020, and 2011-12 academic years.

The Beaver volleyball team boasted a stellar 3.394 cumulative team GPA for the 2025-26 year.
