JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Coworkers at Buffalo Grill are remembering 24-year-old Koleman Lind, who died in a Grant County, Minnesota crash over the weekend.
‘Jacqui Beier, Front of House Manager at Buffalo Grill, said Lind’s attitude set him apart. “Just always positive. Never complained about anybody. You couldn’t beg him to say anything bad about anybody. You couldn’t even lie about anything bad about him. He made friends with everybody that he passed,” Beier said.
A tribute to Lind is now on display in the corner of the restaurant. Staff have also started a hashtag — #LiveLifeLikeKoleman — in his memory.
Outside of his work at the restaurant, Lind served as an assistant women’s basketball coach at the University of Jamestown. The university’s athletic director issued a statement on his passing: Please keep Koleman’s family, our team, Thad, Sarah, Faith and our coaching staff in your thoughts and prayers.
The last couple days are indescribable. Koleman was one of those young coaches that you just knew was going places. Always had a smile and never had a bad day. He poured into the people he was with every day. This one hurts. We will walk through this together.
