Following a 3-2 defeat in their recently concluded One-Day International series against New Zealand, West Indies will now shift their attention to a two-match Test series against Pakistan. 

The first Test begins on July 25 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
 
West Indies heads into the series ranked eighth, compared to their opposition ranked seventh. 

According to former West Indies fast bowler Daren Powell, the Caribbean team should be wary of the Pakistani spinners.

Powell added that the pitches in Trinidad should be conducive for good Test cricket and he hopes the West Indies’ quality fast bowlers will perform well.
