The Diamond Mile for grade-one horses makes a return to Caymanas Park after a six-year hiatus.
The event which carries a ten million dollar purse, will be run this Saturday and is a qualifier for December’s lucrative Mouttet Mile.
Speaking at Tuesday’s post-position draw Neville Nelson, Senior Vice President at Supreme Ventures and Entertainment Limited, SVREL, says the excitement is at fever-pitch.
Reigning horse of the year, RIDE-ALL-DAY, will break from post-position 13.
The 13-horse field includes the likes of LEGACY ISLE, NAUTICAL STAR and FUNCAADUN.
Nelson says he’s expecting a fast race and that SHE’s A MANEATER’S 2019 record could be under threat.
