The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces announced on Monday that the country’s air defense systems are currently intercepting attacks by hostile drones following what it described as the ongoing Iranian aggression.
In a statement, the General Staff said any explosion sounds heard across parts of the country are the result of air defense systems successfully engaging and intercepting the incoming hostile drones.
The military urged the public to remain calm and strictly follow all security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities, reaffirming its commitment to protecting Kuwait’s airspace and ensuring the safety and security of citizens and residents.
