The Bangor Historical Society’s annual Movie Night at Mount Hope Cemetery next month will feature Stephen King’s “It.”

The 2017 film adaptation of King’s 1986 novel about a group of kids and the evil entity that takes the form of their greatest fears will be shown at 7:45 p.m. on the field adjacent to the historic burial grounds. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $15 with a presale for historical society members starting Monday, July 21, at noon. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Wednesday, July 23, at noon.

Entry is through the 1048 State St. gate to Mount Hope Cemetery. All other gates will be locked.

The historical society is also offering a guided tour of Mount Hope Cemetery at 6:45 p.m., limited to 40 guests. Tickets are $10.

Parking will be available at United Technologies Center with a complimentary shuttle service to and from Mount Hope Cemetery starting at 6 p.m. There will be a drop off and pick up area outside of the main 1048 State St. gate to the cemetery.
