The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced early Friday that its air defenses successfully intercepted and neutralized a missile attack targeting the country.

The defense ministry disclosed the operational update via a brief statement published on its official account on the ‘X’ social media platform.

Concurrently, the Qatari Ministry of Interior elevated the national security threat level to high.

The ministry issued an urgent advisory instructing the public to take shelter in secure locations, remain indoors, and stay clear of windows, glass facades, and exposed outdoor areas until the immediate danger subsides to ensure public safety.
