The homestand will feature First Responders Night and a Guns and Hoses charity softball game benefitting Special Olympics New Mexico.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Isotopes have an upcoming slate of home games with unique themes, including First Responder Night.
Friday, July 20, the Isotopes will host the Guns and Hoses charity softball game benefiting Special Olympics New Mexico. It’s a game pitting firefighters and law enforcement against each other. A team of Bernalillo County, Albuquerque and Rio Rancho firefighters will face a team of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho police officers and Bernalillo County sheriff’s deputies.
Gates open at 5 p.m. The softball game will be 5:15-6 p.m. The Isotopes will start at around 6:45 p.m. They will have some special things with the night.
In all, the Isotopes will have nine games in 10 days. They will also have Mariachis Night, a special Looney Tunes jersey – and of course green chile cheeseburgers. They will also have a food drive July 21-26, benefitting Lobo Food Pantry and Silver Horizons.
