President-elect Keiko Fujimori on Wednesday said her new administration will usher in a new chapter, a new direction, marked by progress, peace, and the genuine inclusion of Peruvians who have historically been neglected and forgotten.

“We are embarking on a new chapter, a new direction marked by progress, peace, the reunification of Peruvians, the restoration of trust in our institutions, and the genuine inclusion of all Peruvians,” she said in her speech after receiving her credentials as President-elect of the Republic.
