PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has thanked the people of Nakonde in Muchinga Province for turning up “in thousands” for his meeting today.

The President expressed gratitude to Her Royal Highness Chieftainess Nawaitwika and the people of Nakonde for their support.

“We don’t take your support for granted. We shall continue delivering development for you all,” President Hichilema said.

He commended residents for their resilience, determination and focus in “keeping Zambia moving forward by working with government.”

The President said the last four years and some months have been for “planting and setting the country on the right economic path” and expressed confidence that with another mandate, more will be achieved.

“The last four and some months has been for planting, setting the country on the right economic path and we are confident that the next term, courtesy of you people of Zambia, God’s WILL, we shall achieve even more for our motherland.”
