ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police say Albuquerque’s very own “Bonnie and Clyde” are back behind bars after being released for a week.
Adrian Prevatt and Kaylyn Reynolds were reportedly inside a stolen truck after police said two other suspects, Hailee Lovato and Terrance Jackson, held employees at gunpoint as they stole merchandise from the Savers on Carlisle Blvd. Jackson was allegedly driving. Video shows the car driving erratically, crossing lanes of opposite traffic and driving through a park.
APD shared helicopter and body cam video showing how officers on the ground and in the air tracked them down.
All four were reportedly in the getaway car until Albuquerque police said Prevatt and Reynolds were dropped off under a parking garage. After that, Jackson and Lovato crashed into a parked car.
“Our officers try not to pursue people who are driving in a reckless manner when we have our helicopter up, so it’s a lot safer for officers and for the public,” APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said.
Jackson allegedly left his gun in the car. After all four were arrested, police realized two of them were familiar.
Back in handcuffs one week later
Reynolds and Prevatt had just been arrested June 29 after APD said they stole one of the department’s bait cars and several other items like cash, guns, ammunition and more.
“Bro, I’m smart, babe. Give me a high-five,” Reynolds said to Prevatt in the video from inside the bait car. Prevatt then responds, “I love the f*** out of you. You’re my ride or die.”
“The problem is they’re not staying in jail. This is a great example of that,” Gallegos said.
They were both released from jail with conditions on July 2. Gallegos said the fact that they landed back in handcuffs July 9, exactly a week after being released, isn’t surprising.
“The fact is, they previously stole items. They were specifically looking. They were excited that it was someone from the military, and they were able to find guns and magazines with ammunition,” Gallegos continued. “Hopefully they stay in jail, and we shouldn’t have to be waiting and keep doing this over and over again to determine whether they’re a danger to society.”
Jackson and Lovato also have criminal histories. Jackson served time for voluntary manslaughter in 2018, and Lovato was charged with DWI in 2025.

At the time of publication, all four are in jail.

- Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon
- Receiving or Transferring Stolen Motor Vehicles
- Receipt, Transportation or Possession of a Firearm or Destructive Device by a Felon
- Aggravated Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer
- Leaving the Scene of an Accident
- Hailee Lovato:
- Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon
- Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery
- Kaylyn Reynolds & Adrian Prevatt:
- Receiving or Transferring Stolen Motor Vehicles
- Conspiracy to Commit Receiving/Transferring Stolen Motor Vehicles
For the June 29 case, Reynolds and Prevatt face the following:
- Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle
- Burglary of a Vehicle
- 3 counts of Receiving Stolen Property – Receive (Firearm)
- Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle
- Unlawful Carrying of a Deadly Weapon
