PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has thanked residents of Chilanga District in Lusaka Province for turning out in large numbers.

The President recalled that just four years ago, Kalundu area of Chilanga was known as a hub of political attacks against anyone wearing red party regalia.

“Just about four years ago, Kalundu area of Chilanga was a hub of political attacks to anyone who wore red clothes but not anymore. We fixed lawlessness,” President Hichilema said.

He urged residents of Kalundu and Chilanga to vote for the UPND in the upcoming elections, saying the party must continue delivering development.

“Ba Kalundu, Chilanga district of Lusaka Province, go and vote for the UPND. We have to continue delivering development for you all,” he stated.
