North Korea’s premier will travel to China for a two-day visit starting Friday to mark the 65th anniversary of a bilateral alliance treaty Sunday, DPRK and Chinese state media reported.

Pak Thae Song will head a party and government delegation at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government, according to the Korean Central News Agency and China’s Xinhua agency Thursday.

A DPRK prime minister was last reported to have visited in June 2018, when Pak Pong Ju accompanied leader Kim Jong Un for a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
