VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As part of the construction of the Valley City Public Schools, New School project, underground water and sanitary sewer utilities need to be installed beneath 12th Street NE. To safely complete this work, 12th Street NE and the adjacent shared-use path will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic between 2nd Ave NE and 5th Ave NE. No vehicle, pedestrian, or bicycle access will be permitted through the work zone.

Schedule:
• Closure Begins: Monday, July 20th
• Estimated Reopening: Wednesday, August 19th
• Traffic will be detoured via 9th Street NE. Please follow posted detour signs.
• Access to 2nd Ave NE will remain available from the west on 12th Street NE.

• Between Central Ave N and 2nd Ave NE, 12th Street NE will remain open to local traffic only – including residents, businesses, deliveries, and emergency vehicles.
