I am always on the lookout for great new places to get iced coffee, especially in the summertime; there’s nothing more refreshing than a morning iced coffee with some half-and-half, while the sun beats down on your face as you walk the boardwalk.
And last week, while my wife and I were on vacation in Lavallette, we found an amazing new coffee spot that had some of the best iced coffee I’ve had in a while.
La Costa In Lavallette, NJ, Sells Cold Brew In Cans, Canned To Order
Now, there are a few new spots on the island that are serving up iced coffee that are worth checking out. There’s La Costa off 35 North, and this place is interesting because all of their iced coffees and lattes come in cans. You tell them what you’d like in your coffee, they mix it, then they can it. I think it’s a really cool way to serve coffee.
Underground Cafe In Normandy Beach, NJ, Brings London Vibes To The Shore
There’s also the Underground Cafe that recently opened. This place is really cool; it’s a London-themed coffee shop that also has a diverse food menu and even has Newcastle Brown Ale on tap. If nothing else, this place was just cool to check out while we were on the island.
Julia’s Coffee Company Had Some Of The Best Iced Coffee On The Island
Then there was Julia’s Coffee Company. This may have been the best cup of iced coffee I’ve had on the Island since I fell in love with the coffee from Ryan’s Deli.

Julia’s is a little food truck that’s usually parked off 35 South between Melody Lane and Sailfish Way, and the iced coffee served up at Julia’s was amazing.

I got an iced coffee with just a little cream, and my wife got an iced vanilla latte that was the perfect blend of vanilla, coffee, and sweetness. Not too much, not too little.
Julia’s also caters parties, sporting events, and a whole bunch of other things, so if you’re looking for some good coffee at your next gathering, I’d check out Julia’s!
