Nationwide News understands that Colonel Daniel Pryce is no longer the Director General of the Island Traffic Authority.
The circumstances surrounding his departure are not yet clear.
When contacted by Nationwide News, Colonel Pryce declined to comment on the matter.
The Island Traffic Authority is the agency responsible for administering the Road Traffic Act, testing vehicles for fitness, and overseeing the examination and licensing of the island’s drivers.
A retired Jamaica Defence Force colonel, Daniel Pryce is no stranger to public office.
He served as the first interim Executive Director of the Integrity Commission in 2018 and held it until he was succeeded by Greg Christie in 2020.
Before that, he was interim Executive Director of the National Solid Waste Management Authority, NSWMA.
