Parliament Speaker of Turkmenistan receives credentials from Ambassador of Kenya

AKIPRESS.COM – Speaker of the Parliament of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova accepted the credentials of newly appointed Ambassador of Kenya John Maina Mwangi on July 1.

The Speaker congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to the post and wished him success in his work to further strengthen interstate relations.

It was noted that Turkmenistan is interested in developing international cooperation, including with countries on the African continent.

The Ambassador was also provided with information on the structure of the Parliament and its efforts to modernize the national legislative framework.

During the exchange of views, Turkmenistan and Kenya confirmed their readiness to intensify fruitful cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally, primarily within the UN and other international organizations.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador of Kenya John Main Mwangi assured that he would make every effort to strengthen friendly interstate relations.
