The Roswell High School graduate racked up more than 1,000 wins as a volleyball coach in both New Mexico and Texas during her 44-year career.

ROSWELL, N.M. — Roswell volleyball coach Flo Valdez is now a two-time Hall of Famer with her induction into the National Federation of High Schools Hall of Fame.

Valdez was inducted Monday. The Roswell High School graduate racked up more than 1,000 wins as a volleyball coach in both New Mexico and Texas during her 44-year career. She also coached basketball and track and field.

Valdez has already been inducted into the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame.
