Michael E. Painchaud

Concord, NH – On June 6th, 2026, Michael Edward Painchaud (“Painch”), age 76, a lifelong resident of Concord, passed away peacefully as a result of progressive dementia. He is survived by his life partner Donna Atherton, his son Adam Painchaud and his wife Christy, his grandsons Addison and Abel Painchaud, along with his brother Steven Painchaud and his wife Maria, brother Thomas Painchaud and his wife Bonnie, his sister Gail Painchaud, his sister Diane Levesque and her husband Wayne, and sister Denise Fournier and her husband Gregg, and many nieces and nephews. During his heyday, Mike had many great friends over the years, too many to list. Many of them he would play softball with, bake bread and cook with, watch sports with, or just relax with. He was most at peace while enjoying quiet moments reading his daily newspapers. His idea of a long road trip was traveling to the other side of the Merrimack River, but he would try his best to stay in the South End. He was a friendly and kind man. He will be missed. Instead of flowers or donations for Mike, raise a cold Budweiser with close friends or family, and be thankful for the time you have left with them. This Bud’s for you Mike…

Visiting hours will be held at Bennett Funeral Home, in Concord NH, on June 30, from 5-7 PM for anyone wishing to attend.
