Rafi’a Al-Barnawi, Chairwoman of the Al-Ronak Organization for Women and Children, told the Libyan News Agency that the event reflects the organization’s increasing focus on issues faced by working women. Al-Barnawi noted that Libyan women today bear significant responsibilities at home and in society. She called for more community and awareness efforts to support them. According to Al-Barnawi, real empowerment goes beyond employment opportunities. It must also provide psychological, social, and educational support.
