Donetsk region allocates record UAH 112.5M to support Defense Forces

Ukraine’s Donetsk region has allocated a record UAH 112.5 million to support military units defending the region.

According to Ukrinform, the announcement was made on Telegram by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

Filashkin said the decision was approved during a meeting of the region’s Defense Council.

He emphasized that this is the largest amount ever allocated in a single tranche to meet the needs of the military.

The regional governor added that the meeting also focused on the security situation, mobilization efforts, and coordination with military units, districts, and local communities.

“Our task is to strengthen those who hold the line every day and to provide communities with everything necessary to remain resilient,” Filashkin stressed.
