HONOLULU (KHON2) — Wahiawā Health, a federally qualified health center, is urging parents and guardians to book school physicals for their keiki in advance.
With the 2024-2025 school year finishing up, the 2025-2026 school year may seem like a ways away, but experts are saying booking appointments in advance is the best idea.

Wahiawā Health offers school and sports physicals, as well as immunizations and tuberculosis clearance for keiki entering preschool, beginning a new year in the K-12 system and those entering college.
Immunizations are required for all students entering childcare or preschool, kindergarten, seventh grade and post-secondary school, as well as for students who are beginning school in the islands for the first time.
Booking appointments ahead of time is ideal, given that appointment slots tend to fill up closer to the beginning of the school year.
