Producer Vashu Bhagnani has made shocking comments about the financial losses he allegedly suffered after Varun Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1 failed to impress audiences.

During a recent media interaction, Vashu claimed that the film caused him a loss of nearly ₹27 crore and said he was only a namesake producer on the project. He also revealed that director David Dhawan handled most of the production and expenses.

The producer further stated that he paid David Dhawan close to ₹70 crore for the film and expressed disappointment over how things turned out.

Vashu also indirectly targeted Varun Dhawan, saying the actor never checked on him despite the huge losses. The controversy has now become a hot topic in Bollywood circles.
