Anirudh Ravichander is unquestionably the most sought-after music director in Indian cinema today.

Riding high on a massive success streak, he has become the highest-paid composer in the industry, reportedly charging even more than Oscar-winning legend A. R. Rahman.

From Tamil and Telugu to Bollywood, every major production house wants Anirudh on board.

In Telugu, he is already composing for Nani’s “The Paradise,” besides projects like Koratala Siva and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film. He has also signed the much-hyped Allu Arjun – Lokesh Kanagaraj project.

Now, industry buzz suggests that producers Dil Raju and Vamshi Paidipally are keen to rope him in for their Bollywood film starring superstar Salman Khan, which recently went on floors.

Interestingly, S. Thaman is already associated with the project. The talk in film circles is that Dil Raju wants Anirudh to handle the songs, while Thaman would compose the background score.

The big question now is whether Anirudh would agree to share musical responsibilities with another top composer.

While Bollywood has a long-standing tradition of multiple composers working on the same film, such collaborations are still relatively uncommon in South Indian cinema, especially for star composers of Anirudh’s stature.
