Benghazi – The Director General of the Marriage Support Fund, Mohamed Ibrahim, praised the great success achieved by the “Family Counseling Diploma” program during the graduation ceremony of the first batch of family counselors in Libya, a step considered the first of its kind in the field of specialized training for family counseling and marital life affairs.

During the ceremony organized today, Thursday, the Director General of the Fund emphasized that training this elite group of counselors represents the cornerstone for the next phase of the Fund’s work, which aims to provide integrated counseling and awareness services dealing with various aspects of family life, contributing to enhancing community stability and reducing marital problems.

He explained that the Fund’s goal is not limited to providing financial support only, but extends to fortifying the Libyan family scientifically and socially, through launching specialized programs in family counseling that include pre-marital rehabilitation, family dispute resolution, and providing psychological and social support to couples.

He pointed out that the Fund will begin activating these programs across all its branches and its electronic platform, ensuring that counseling and awareness services reach various Libyan cities and regions, to contribute to building stable and aware families and reducing divorce and family breakdown rates.

The Director General of the Marriage Support Fund congratulated the graduates of the first batch of the program, describing them as ambassadors of community stability, stressing that their role will be pivotal in bridging the rift between couples, resolving family disputes, and mitigating the severity of problems facing marital life.
