TARZANA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Shots were fired outside of singer Chris Brown’s Tarzana home on Friday, according to Los Angeles police.
It happened just after 4 p.m. LAPD said the suspect and victim became involved in a dispute, and that’s when the suspect pulled out a “CO2-style handgun” and fired at the victim.
Jail records show police arrested a man named Markeith Cungious. He was booked for assault with a deadly weapon that is not a firearm.
The 35-year-old is being held in jail on $50,000 bail.
Investigators don’t know if Brown was home at the time of the shooting or if he knows the people involved.
The incident comes after a shooting at Rihanna’s house in March.

Rihanna’s Beverly Glen mansion was hit by gunfire while the singer was home, according to the LAPD and sources with knowledge of the investigation.
A Florida woman is accused of shooting up the house while the singer was inside with her family.
No one was hurt.
Ivanna Ortiz pleaded not guilty to several charges, including attempted murder. Police believe Ortiz drove to L.A. from Florida before the shooting, but a motive remains unclear.
