INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Three people were hurt in connection to a shooting in downtown Indianapolis early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. at the intersection on South Street near Illinois Street at a White Castle.
At the scene, police say they found an adult man shot and he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Later, investigations say another man walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound. He is stable.
IMPD was then called to a scene on Madison Avenue where police found another man shot. He is also stable. That was near the intersection of South Madison Avenue and East Morris Street.
Police say that they believe all three men are connected to the original White Castle incident. They say they believe there was an incident in the parking lot that led to the shooting.
Police say there is no threat to the community and it is an isolated incident.
There was no other information immediately available.
