Las Vegas airport welcomes first seasonal Air France flight from Paris | Tourism

Passengers from Paris arrived at Harry Reid International Airport’s Terminal 3 Wednesday on Air France’s inaugural 10½-hour nonstop flight from Charles de Gaulle International Airport.

Travelers had boarded one of the airline’s twin-engine Airbus A350-900 jets capable of carrying 440 passengers at 1:40 p.m., Paris time. The jet turned around for its journey back to Paris at 5:50 p.m. in Las Vegas, and will arrive Thursday at around 1:05 p.m., local time.

The flights will operate through October on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Air France’s seasonal service between Paris and Las Vegas will run through Oct. 24. The October 2025 announcement of the Air France Paris service was somewhat surprising because the company had earlier discussed running nonstop round trips for CES in January, assess how they performed and then make a decision on whether to operate seasonal flights. But instead, airline executives decided to commit to the seasonal routes without the CES “tryout.”

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority said air service between Reid airport and Paris will bring 26,892 seats to Las Vegas per season, and will generate an estimated $34.7 million in direct economic impact and $57.5 million in overall impact per year.

The Air France Paris operations are the first of two huge international flights to Las Vegas on national flag-carrier airlines.

Earlier this year, the LVCVA announced that nonstop flights between Sydney, Australia, and Las Vegas would begin in December on Qantas Airlines.

Flights running Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays begin Dec. 29 and the airline will use twin-engine Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets, capable of carrying up to 300 passengers, on the route.

Those flights, the longest international journey to and from Las Vegas, will run 15 hours and 15 minutes.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
