Three people were killed and one injured in crashes on Arkansas roads on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to preliminary Arkansas State Police reports.
On Tuesday, David Roberts, 49, of Bono was killed in a crash that took place at 8:15 p.m. on an Interstate 57 river bridge in Jackson County. The 2026 Buick Encore that Roberts was driving northbound lost a tire, left the roadway, struck a fence, became airborne and rolled, according to the report. Passenger Angela Roberts, 49, of Bono was injured in the crash.
The weather and road conditions were clear, the report stated.
On Wednesday, Jeffrey Neal Davis, 64, of Letona was killed during a crash around 1 p.m. at 1010 East Booth Road in Searcy. Davis, who was driving a 2020 Ford Edge, was headed west along the road when he struck a 1995 Peterbilt truck exiting a parking lot, headed east.
1010 East Booth Road is listed as the address of a Phillips 66 gas station in Google Maps.
No one else was killed or injured in the crash, the report stated. The weather conditions were clear and the roads were dry.
At 7:36 p.m. on Wednesday, an unidentified minor was killed in a crash on Rodeo Road in Yell County, authorities said.
The minor, who was driving northbound in a 2002 Honda, struck a deer and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the report, which notes that the weather conditions were clear and the roads were dry.
