East Bridgewater man charged with five counts of rape, kidnapping

EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WLNE) — An East Bridgewater man has been charged following multiple alleged incidents of sexual assault against an 18-year-old woman.

According to East Bridgewater police, 25-year-old Mohamed Salieu Jalloh is facing multiple charges in the alleged incidents:

  • Assault and battery on a family/household member
  • Threatening to commit a crime (assault and battery)
  • Threatening to commit a crime (murder)
  • Rape (five counts)
  • Furnishing liquor to a person under the age of 21 (two counts)
  • Kidnapping

According to East Bridgewater police, the investigation began Wednesday after authorities received reports that the alleged victim had been sexually assaulted by Jalloh multiple times.

The alleged incidents took place at the suspect’s home after he met the alleged victim on a dating app.

An investigation by East Bridgewater police determined that the alleged incidents took place on several occasions between December 27 and December 31.

Jalloh was arraigned in Brockton District Court on Friday and was held without bail pending the outcome of a Thursday dangerousness hearing.

Jalloh’s bail on a separate open case was revoked, according to East Bridgewater PD.
