TIMBER LAKE, S.D. (KELO)-A western South Dakota town had an unusual visitor earlier this month.

This picture of a moose was taken in Timber Lake back on October 15th. The viewer says the animal wandered through yards behind their home.

According to Alaska Fish and Game, moose are the largest member of the deer family. The animals can range in size from 8-hundred pounds to 16-hundred pounds.
